Servings: 14 slices
Calories: 135kcal
Equipment
- 1 Large baking sheet (lined with aluminum foil)
- 1 baking rack
- 1 fork
Ingredients
- 1 lb thick-cut bacon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F.
- After lining your baking sheet with foil (to reduce cleanup), place the baking rack on top of the foiled baking sheet and add your bacon slices. They can overlap, as they'll shrink down a bit while cooking.
- Bake for 17 minutes, then remove from the oven to flip each piece of bacon.
- Bake for another 10 minutes, remove from the oven and if you like your bacon a bit chewy, then you're done and you can eat.
- If you like it a bit more crispy, then you'll want to flip and bake for another 5 minutes and it's PERFECT! Serve and enjoy!
Notes
Storage Tips
- Once fully cooled, to help reduce condensation and keep crispy, you have two options. You can either:
- Refrigerate: In an airtight container or resealable freezer bag, removing as much air as possible, you can store your leftovers for up to 1 week.
- Freeze: Using the same methods listed above, you can store for up to 1 month.
Reheating
- In a hurry, you can use the microwave, but you will only need to heat your slices for about 15 - 30 seconds.
- However, to retain crispiness you can use your oven, air fryer, or stovetop at 375 or 400 degrees for 5 - 10 minutes.
