Equipment
- 1 large bowl OR gallon-sized resealable freezer bag
- 1 Large saucepan
- 1 medium or large nonstick skillet for frying
Ingredients
- 5 lb. chicken wings
- 10 dashes hot sauce
- ½ tsp. Dash Original seasoning
- ½ tsp. Poultry Seasoning
- ¼ tsp. Dash Extra Spicy seasoning
- ⅛ tsp. Cayenne Pepper
- ⅛ tsp. Paprika
- Oil for deep frying
Sauce:
- ¼ Bottle Bar-B-Q Sauce we used Sweet Baby Ray's Vidalia Onion
- ¼ Bottle Hot Sauce we used Frank's Louisiana Red Hot Sauce
- ¼ Bottle raw unfiltered honey we used Raw Unfiltered Honey
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Place cleaned chicken wings in a large bowl and season. Add ¼ bottle of Hot Sauce to the seasoned chicken; preferably in a bowl with a lid, or a resealable gallon-sized freezer bag, so it can be shaken and mixed well.
- Heat oil to 375°F, the oil should be just enough to cover the wings entirely.
- In a large saucepan, combine Hot Sauce, Bar-B-Q Sauce, and Honey. Mix well and keep on low to medium heat.
- Fry wings in hot oil until cooked through and golden crispy brown.
- Remove from the heat and drain well* before placing the wings in the bar-b-q sauce mixture. *Draining methods include paper towels, a baking rack, etc.
- After you coat, place them on a cookie sheet and place them back in the oven for 15 minutes. Remove, serve hot, and enjoy!
Notes
Have a drink nearby, these are definitely hot and tasty. You just can't stop eating them!
