Have you ever been to a restaurant where you spent a few pennies – or more like several twenties – for at least two people, and the food wasn’t that great? Maybe it was a food truck?

Have you ever wondered what the heck was in the food? Was it even real food?

Well, wonder no more and simply make your own, from cravings to meals for a family gathering or maybe just whip something up for a romantic evening for two.

After watching countless episodes of Restaurant Impossible (plus a few personal experiences from moving state to state), we’ve realized that eating out isn’t always what it’s hyped up to be. Now we’re not saying, don’t enjoy having a great night out on the town. However, when you do, try to make it special and don’t find yourself eating out 3-4 nights a week, it can be a bit harsh on your body and you may actually grow tired of it.

As entrepreneurs, we find ourselves on the go a lot! So, we try to find a balance and only eat out when we’re traveling for work or leisure (we try). For the most part though…we cook and eat our own food at home and on the go; granted there’s a kitchen or kitchenette. The benefits of cooking your own food include a variety of factors such as more energy (fresher produce and meats), better immune system (not getting sick as much), control of flavor and taste and it’s also a great way to spend time with the ones you love.
